Sorry it has taken so long to reply but I have been traveling. It went on the train with a company that arranged the train tickets so I am not certain but it is my understanding it is not a "hop-on, hop-off" train. I think you have to purchase a ticket to your destination, hop off, and then purchase another ticket from there to your next stop. If I recall correctly, the stops averaged from 10 minutes to about half an hour.

Sorry it has taken so long to reply but I have been traveling. Thanks for the compliment! Were you inquiring about the music?

  • very nice :) thinking of going on the trans mongolian myself this year. what is this piece by the way?

  • Thanks for sharing....this is the route i would take, although im confused about 'stop-offs'. How long are passengers allowed off the train at each destination before the train leaves again. Is it possible to stop off at one of the stations on route..then catch the next train and carryon with the journey?
