@frankd1965 When Bixby's Mother talks about his his love interests she looks uncomfortable and seems almost jealous? I say this becuase it's mentioned that him becoming an actor was somehting they weren't supportive about. Maybe his calm and kind personality was related to the harshness of some of the things they said in relation to that choice?

Interesting how wonderfully polite and socially well-adjusted Eddie is on 'Eddie's Father.' The children on that show were taught good manners, too.
