i dont like cannibal corpse either. but i recognize that they are all talented musicians, as i do with the casualites.

alright so he makes ANGRY noise. better now? and the screaming/growling (cause its more like a shout/growl) does ruin it for me.

I never said you weren't musically trained, I use the word YOU as in a general person. im saying if YOU think these guys are screamo then YOU aren't. Listen I'm not disrespecting you, but to be honest, I have 23 people on my top comment agreeing with me, I never said you don't listen to a lot of hardcore punk either. I do to, im listening to The Early descendents right now. But you have no idea who I am, so you can't say you're more musically trained. im sure i know what im talking about

in fact, maybe its a stretch, but i'm probably more "musically trained" than you are, so don't go into that territory unless you are sure you know what you're talking about.

i also never said i didn't like/respect the casualties. In fact my band almost played a show with them here in san diego... they would have let us play but it was a "non-locals only show." So please, rethink your approach and don't talk out of your ass.

i know all about hardcore punk, don't lecture me. I listen to black flag, circle jerks, adolescents, minor threat, descendents (early), exploited, pennywise (sorta hardcore), and the list goes on.

I know exactly what street punk is. i can have these opinions and be plenty "musically trained." In fact, I'm classically trained.

@AlecBeretz most of the casualties lyrics are angry, so why would he want to express anything but anger if that is their lyrical content. Hardcore punk doesn't have to be about expression. Hardcore punk is a style of music, punk can be any lyrical content, from songs about the government, to who your friends are. The band is a talented "Street"(what i should have said) punk, not screamo. If you can't tell the difference, You aren't very well musical trained
