  • Poverty reduction and wealth creation are increasingly seen as new paradigms for economic, social, political and environmental sustainability in developing countries and disadvantaged communities in general. Many questions still have to be properly addressed; what are the best approaches/ models to be used to fight poverty through enterprises? Also how do we use ICT initiatives for attaining sustainable service innovation in pro poverty activity.

  • Thanks for your views. I too have highlighted the importance of ICT in my proposed investments under the very first point - investment in infrastructure in electronic connectivity which would help improve rural standards of living. President Kalam's PURA Project is an example of initiatives in this right direction. Unfortunately only 4 minutes time was available as a part of this debate and hence could not elaborate on many issues which you have highlighted. Thanks for your interest & time!

  • why r u so formal..who r u trying to impress..! man.. this is not a school class room. I have always seen our ppl lack genuines in their expression.. i dont know why.

it is an Utopian idea, just lose the talking and start doing, thinking is a poor alternative for doing.

  • If India keeps taking the lead from America than there si no future for these young people. INDIA BE YOURSELF. YOU ARE THE ORIGINAL REST ARE THE COPIES

  • Dear Shasank in my eyes you were the best by the widest margin possible I am really shocked and puzzled how u missed the first prize

  • Great job done!!!!!!! Hope the points suggested turn into a reality.

  • You need to join the IAS. You are young and can become a minister

  • After tasting one of he best education and facilities possible in India at IIT R, what I realize is the following. Neither the students nor the teachers are sincere. Even after PhD Indian govt considers people backward and has reservation 4 selection of professors. Need of the hour is change of attitude and united walk towards progress. We need entrepreneurs who are ready to risk, n labor ready to work, students with aggressive mindset to do rigorous research and invest in their technologies

  • . We need to just change our individual self. We do not need one enlightened leader but we need one teacher in every institute who can instill into students the aggression to do research and passion for knowledge and strength to face practical world.

  • My heart say a time is coming very soon when a noble and an enlightened leader will play a crucial role in fulfilling this great dream of India reaching it full potential of demographic demand.

    Regards

    Deepak Bharwani
