You said that there was not a more moving prophecy about the Lord in the entire Bible?! Have you ever read ANY of the book of Isaiah?! Also, just because Jesus used the phrase "many shall fall by the edge of the sword" does not automatically imply inspiration. Let's take a look at what else the book of Sirach, or Ecclessiasticus has to say, shall we? I believe you'll find the following verses quite objectionable to the character of a loving, merciful God..

Did Jesus endorse the following statements that are contrary to God's character found in Sirach, aka Ecclesiasticus?
Ecclesiasticus 25:19 Any iniquity is insignificant compared to a wife's iniquity. (So if a man and a woman commit murder, she is more guilty than he is?)
Ecclesiasticus 22:3 It is a disgrace to be the father of an undisciplined, and the birth of a daughter is a loss. (Then surely abortion of all females is okay by God according to Ecclesiasticus, right?)

Everything you oh so conveniently underlined in the book of Wisdom could have been said about any number of people. Any of the Apostles would fit every one of those descriptions, to have knowledge of God, we're all referred to as God's children, God promises to help all of His righteous children, not just Jesus, and we're all promised to suffer for the sake of Christ, some even to die (e.g. Stephen in Acts). So there goes your book of Wisdom's "inspiration".

God Bless you. Your videos are flippin awesome!
Neither their authors nor the circumstances of their writings are known. The Jews nor the early Christians accepted them as inspired scripture. The books themselves dont claim inspiration. There's no"Thus saith the Lord"'s .Although the N.T has 263 direct quotes from and 370 allusions to the O.T,there's not a single reference to the books of the apocrypha. It was at Trent,Ap.8th1546,that the pope declared tradition+the apocrypha to be canonical and authoritative.

False.
1. Some of the authors are known; Baruch and Sirach to name to; and besides, knowing the author doesn't matter to inspiration (Esther and Ecclesiastes have unknown authors too, but you accept those books).
2. Some of the books do claim inspiration. Baruch says "Thus saith the Lord" and Sirach calls itself a book of prophesy. But there are books you accept as Scripture that do not claim to be inspired: Esther and Ecclesiastes, to name two. Cont'd next.

Cont'd from last.
3. The New Testament DOES refer to the 7 Catholic Books, and calls them Scripture. See the video: I gave two examples of this very thing in the video you're COMMENTING on!
4. It was in the 1500s that Luther declared tradition+the Catholic books to be uncanonical and having no authority. The Catholics went with what had been decided over a thousand years before: when the Latin Vulgate was created in the 400s, the Catholic books were in it.
