I live in Takeo-shi. The facebook move is bad for such a countryside city. If it were Osaka or Fukuoka, that would be a different story.

It's too bad mixi is the dominant social networking site in Japan. Given that I didn't join before they started requiring Japanese cell phones. Here's to hoping another more accessible site becomes big. Maybe not Facebook, maybe not even Google+. But someplace.
