Also, the ND quarterback who fumbled was Ron Powlus. ND's starting quarterback in the '99 game was Jarious Jackson - think back to the botched final play at the goal line that cost them the game.

Great play, but it occurred during the 1997 game, not 1999. Roosevelt Colvin's last year at Purdue was 1998 (remember the Alamo Bowl against K-state), and he was then drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 1999 draft.

As a Penn State fan...Purdue's stadium is UNDERRATED as hell. It is REALLY noisy. This is one good example...but "Holy Buckeye" was even better. I can't imagine how loud it would have been if Purdue would've stopped them on 4th and 1.
