2D compressible inviscid CFD calculation of an air flow at Mach 1.3 though a parallel passage with a small hump. 5 milliseconds are calculated after an impulsive start. Mach number (upper) and static temperature (lower) are shown.

The simulation was done using a cell centred finite volume code, with 50000 quadrilateral cells. The code uses 3rd order MUSCL interpolation in space and Kurganov and Tadmor's central scheme for the fluxes. 4th order Runge-Kutta integration is used temporally with a timestep of a microsecond.

Post processing was done with ParaView.
