I have the same blaster I think, and filtered my sand with a window screen but often, the valve on the bottom of the sandblaster clogs and the shut of valve gets eaten away by the sand. Have you had the same problem?

I have a problem with humidity getting into the lines and caking the sand. My shutoff valve is a little worn out, but I am going to get a deadman valve to replace it.
