I'm one of those keenly interested Tigrigna Rivivalist Eritreans who had been following Tigrigna music development on both sides of the Shabia-weyane dividing line. And it happens that the more I watch such creative Tigringa music and good songs from Tigray, specially those of late being produced by the younger generation,the more I get convinced that there is huge potential in Tigray to modernize Tigrigna music without compromising with its uniquely specific qualities.
