I LOVE Deidre Hall!!!!!!!!

Deidre and Ali rocked these scenes. I have Ali's book and she mentions this scene in it. She says it's one of her favorite scenes to act out because it was one of the most emotional scenes she ever had with Deidre. It was like a total character reformation. All the animosity between Sami and Marlena was buried and they bonded as mother and daughter like never before. It was beautiful and taught Alison so much about acting and just how important Deidre was to her.

Some of the most riveting acting on DOOL. I'm not a big fan of Deirdre, but she was amazing in this storyline. Also, seeing the new, slim and beautiful Sami was icing on the cake. She was stunning and faced her imminent execution with grace and dignity!

@yesserinnocentstorm If I remember correctly Sami was framed for Franco Kelly`s murder. Franco was killed by Lucas on the day for his (Franco`s) and Sami`s wedding. Franco tried to kill Kate with a pokerstick in Kate`s livingroom but Lucas came in and killed him (I think that Lucas shot him). Then came Sami in, sasw Franco`s body and fainted. Before Sami ¨gained her conciousness Kate (or Lucas) placed the gun in Sami`s hand to make it look like that Sami had shot Franco. Hope it heøped.

I started watching Days in the fall of 1997 and this was the biggest storyline they wrote at the time and the princess Gina story as well. This was a sad week of Days when this story aired in june of 1999. I don't watch it any more but I have seen it a few times since I stopped in 2007 and it's not as good as it was.
