I loved Lou Christie as a child too. Had older sisters who listened. I like alot of the 60s music. Saw him perform in Palm Springs. He was GREAT!

This is one of the sweetest songs I've heard. Like other folks already said here, it made the hit parades in Brazil at the same time when it hit me too. I just forgot exactly the year, but it was between 70 and 72.

I've loved this song since I was around 7 or 8 years old when I heard it for the first time. I love it still. It is one of the most romantic songs I've ever heard...and one day, if I ever meet Mr. Right... well, this would be the perfect song wouldn't it?
