@cha0s42088 yeah - the Tongva would eat it if the Rancheros didn't plant it. Tongva wouldn't think of adding a windbreak of trees to keep the frostbite winds off the citrus crops they had no idea how to raise or even know exist because they were too busy attacking and eating each other.

Amazing video. I live in the Alta Loma District of Rancho Cucamonga. I greatly respect and value our local area as it is still a Tongvan Indian nation in my soul. I am from European descent but grew up on Tongvan land. Our home is in northern Alta Loma near Cucamonga Creek and has 100+ year old eucalyptus tree windbreaks behind it. Very beautiful, very special.

France had nothing to do with it , that's why when they conquered Spain and took the Louisiana Territory, the indigenous peoples still lived their way of life and weren't forced onto reservations until the cowardly anglo/americans brought it because they were afraid to go to war with France, the anglos killed off 90% while the iberians 10%, no you get educated, it was spain and britain that fucked you over not France..

However I live to see the day when native americans liberate their continent, in the spanish colonies, 80% of the people are indigenous descended whether full blooded or mixed, half of the countries are ran by mestizos, Guarani (a native language of Paraguay) is the second official language next to spanish, and Ecuador sings it's national anthem in native languages next to spanish so liberation is around the corner for the indigenous peoples in the spanish american colonies.
