@NCC63549 Nah. Ending it with those two would leave the story unfinished. What they needed to to is to throw out the holodeck angle and Tucker's pointless random death.

@NCC63549 i was just expecting to actually get to hear archers speech. tho i did enjoy the triple-barrelled "space, the final frontier" with kirk, picard and archer. shame they made it a holodeck program aswell as opposed to the actual characters!
