05 MSM versus two whatever year del sols. Both are b16s, i met these two guys when i was in Canada with my car... I wish i had videos of the more suitable opponents but i dont soooo youre just going to have to watch these.

haha fail, nice job racing some D16s. Know a little more about hondas before you start to brag. Learn to specify:

B16A, B16A1, B16A2, B16A3, B16A4, B16A5, B16A6, B16B.

There is a huge difference between the 186hp B16B and the 121hp B16A4.

Plus, your $26,000 turbo charged 178hp 1.8L is kind of a laugh.... I don't care how much boost you put in your money pit BP-4W, that engine doesn't make any power in any range of the power-band. Did you know your car is only making 100whp at 4k rpms? lol xD

I kinda agree with ya man, not a fair race or anything at all. It just happened to be the only shit i recorded.

However I had a lot done to my miata. I spent hours tuning it on the dyno and youre actually wrong about 100whp at 4k. It produced 208whp @ 5700rpm. About 150 at 4k.

I just loved my car man, i dont have a thing against hondas.

this was at 9-10 PSI. It was tuned for 13PSI, but i had some sort of boost leak (that high pitch squeal)

@statdev just out of Curiosity im assuming you found the boost leak where was it? i had one about 3month's ago and it was my charge piping.....

so many rice boys, im a renault/peugeot guy really as i dont have steep pockets and prefer to do my own tuning/fabricating which honda and mazda tend to make difficult, however even then ive drove many hondas and also mx5's , mx5 amazing over engineered piece of kit, honda, exciting to be in , exciting to drive, but in reality most are dogs and really are not as quick as you may feel. My renault 5 gt turbo runs a engine based on 1960's design(push rod) and i love iT!

@espjuan I started racing with honda's went to awd then rwd now I am back in a honda again and this 1 is a sohc turbo beast 350whp on low boost when I get my new fmic and 3 bar map sensor it should be around 400whp but I'm just restarting the cycle I will be getting more awd and rwd cars I'm still young and I love racing just not in a straight line that shit is boring but even the dk tsuchiya said he loves hondas it's all about how you build it and drive it the makes it a drivers car

@importadvocate Both cars are ok, but the Honda is less of a driver's car since the MX5 is rear wheel drive.

@importadvocate yea the power may not look like much, but these cars have HUGE potential. I've owned 6 FWD hondas and the miata i currently own (non turbo) is a very fun car. Plus you shouldn't judge it if u haven't driven it. It needs more torque or a closer ratio tranny for daily driving but I'll drive the miata over my integra anyday.
