  • I love this woman and her organization! My husband and I recently adopted a 4 year old Weimereiner/Pit Bull mix from Beth and this is the best dog! I had never had a "bully breed" dog before and cannot believe how very unjust that title is. Our dog, Arnie, is the biggest sweetheart in the world and doesn't attack our 2 cats although one of our cats give him hell! Beth made sure that we got the best dog to fit our lifestyle and situation and I can't say enough good things about her!

    A men!!!

  • I am truly honored to be a friend of Beth Gruff, President of Its The Pits Dog Rescue in San Diego. I have yet to meet anyone as dedicated and passionate about this wonderful and misunderstood breed as Beth is. I am also a proud Mom of 2 Pitbulls. Their love and devotion is like no other.

Annamaryh0113... I couldnt agree more. I spent a couple hours with Beth and her husband while shooting the footage for this. The environment they live in with the dogs, the care these dogs recieve, the open arms these dogs come to at Its The Pits... it is unmatched at any other rescue I have ever dealt with.

PS... I am the proud dad of 3 rescue (2 from Denver, CO Death Row, 1 stolen from some abusive and negligent homeless people). Should I leave this world and need to leave my 3 in the very best of care... Its the Pits, hands down... twice on Sundays.

  • What a wonderful woman! thank you for caring and helping this breed! they deserve to be loved and part of a family....God Bless you Beth..

  • Beth your amazing! Keep doing what your doing! You truly are an amazing person! : )

  • Beth and its the pits are wonderful! I adopted my first dog, Rex, from her and he is my baby. When I was ready for a second dog she patiently introduced Rex and I to other dogs until we fell in love with Paige. Paige is my sidekick and my girl. Both pitties melt my heart. Everyday is worth while with their booties waggin and them always ready to snuggle. We love Beth and "Its the Pits" Keep up the great work!!

  • I love Beth /ITP and being a foster parent to these great dogs. Beth cares for each and every one of them and does her best to put each dog with it's perfect family. You know when you are getting a new family member from this rescue, that you are not only saving a life but getting a dog that she has spared no expense in assuring that it is as healthy and stable as possible. Yeah Beth! I know it's so hard but you are THE BEST at it!!!

  • I like the ending. I hope all these beautiful dogs have their deserved happy ending, a loving home.
