but the sharks also control the reef systems, kelp forrest, and open water systems. And on the bottom of the ocean, most things are not predators like what we think of, and most things are very small. And most of the fish are scavengers.
scientifically? Acording to science the sharks have servived four major extictions, so what you say is not true. Plus the sharks control the population of many small and medium sized plankton eaters, so if sharks die most likely those fish would over populate and would eat to much plankton, which not only consumes more carbon dioxide than any other organism on earth, but also gives us about 70-75% of our ozygen.
It must not be certain that the Sharks are head of the ocean, you kill all of its species, the whole ocean won't really die scientificly.
Alot of unknown dangerous sea creatures out there that no human have ever seen before could be ever more dangerous than Sharks. Deep down in the bottom of the sea could be your clue.
So mostly humans blame Sharks about us wondering into there territory. So not true, the Sharks are not the ones who own the ocean. =)
First of all you can say that about just about anything, polar bears, pandas, lions, and tigers. But sharks have a very important part in the enviroment, and are the head of the ocean. They control the numbers of thousands of fish. And if you cut of the head of the ocean the ocean dies. That is a statistic, not an opinion. And you do know that the bull shark has attacked people the most? And that people swim, baited, with those sharks all the time without cages.
Can I just add in one thing, what has sharks done for us in the past 10 years apart from getting killed by them? =)
Its also the type of sharks that attack.
You go out there at swim with a Great White, Tiger Shark or even a Bull Shark. Most dangerous sharks on earth... 1 in 11million you'll get eaten... what a lie. How its that 100% true, for all you know it could be a person oppinion!
