@TechThem22 Which one? The one I haven't had with 113k miles on the gearbox. It still shifts like the day I got it. Plus, I'm planing a HPF Stage 2 build in the next couple years.If you have an M3 you have to have money, it's common sense that if you want to play you have to pay.

@Sig229Fan What is it like? I heard that stability control was non-defeatable on the manual models, but the later cars had that fixed due to a TSB. How is the gearing especially? I heard that only the SMG keeps the engine on the boil and the manual doesn't. I've never seen many tests of the E60 manual M5, so I'm genuinely curious.

I've had no problems with my M3 rocking an SMG II transmission. Shifts like silk and is faster than any of you shifting your manual gears.
