@spunyballs That lead singer left after this album. That's why the band's direction went a bit softer in their sound. I forgot his name, but he was only with them for the first 2 then left because of either trouble or creative differences. I read it on Zune. I don't know what he's doing now. I wish Mercury Rev would make more music like this, and the other rocking songs from Boces. I like their new style too, but I miss the old school as well.

Weird but wonderful. Few things will ever compare to that massive rush of feedback that happens about 2/3 of the way through. Truly epic.

It's no exaggeration in saying this is one of the greatest songs of all time. Everything is perfect about it. Too bad the end of the song is cut off so abruptly. And thanx for the vid.
