Tom, yours is a very honest and fair response. You are right. There are many places that are great to live in. My parents came here from Ellas as well, and did well. But even they now question what America has become. Just one example would be our healthcare system. Our technology is great, but our access sucks. There are too many instances of people 'falling through the cracks' and being denied necessary procedures by their insurance companies, if they have any to begin. We need change!

Sophie, thank you for your comment. It is true, there are SO MANY places in the world to live in that are AMAZING and great. And we are all now so connected by the internet. But when my parents family from Greece many years ago--America was indeed the best place to come for opportunity. It really was. That has changed in the last 60 years or so.
I should say GOD BLESS THE WORLD now. Bloom where you are planted.
