taking a ride on a 1967 vonroll type 101 located here at seaworld san diego.the only vonroll skyride left that goes over a body of sea water.one of the best skyrides that vonroll ever made this skyride turns 40 on june 23.built in 1967.a ansestor of the disneyland skyway...

  • Wow, that's got to be one of the few Skyrides left that doesn't force riders to get off at the turnaround point. We've got one here at Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa, FL as well. I know it was built by Vonroll in 67 or 69 but I'm not shure of the model number. WDW used to have one in the Magic Kingdom park, but they ripped theirs out for some reason in the 90's.
