Ohio Arts - State of the State's Art Museums (Applause Special)

What does the future look like for our states art museums? When the Cleveland Museum of Art reopens its refurbished east wing in June, the WVIZ/PBS program Applause http://www.wviz.org/applause will produce a special program with the directors of all of Ohios major art museums about the status of Arts in Ohio.

Through a panel discussion with Ohio art museum directors, they will explore how the economic downturn has affected arts in this state, and the various challenges each museum is facing.

In presenting works of art, also must consider climate control, in terms of windows and transparency, must consider protecting the art, from sun's rays from fading the art work. Like persons an spf if you will, or tinted windows? Protecting art work from the elements is important in preservation of the works of art. In the sense of security, the windows are very assistive in means of being a very veiwable area that is assistive aside from the security features themselves.
