My review on the Seagate free agent goflex external hard drive. Works well with Windows/Mac OS X. Includes USB 2.0/3.0 cable. Comes in 320 GB-1.5 TB. Easy and quick to back up computer. Just plug in and go. Very portable. Great buy. No problems.

do you have to use the software to back up your files or can you just have it so that you can plug the hard drive and it will appear under My computer and drag and drop the files.

@Jozzy86 dont plug into the keyboard usb ports, plug into your mac usb ports on the mac itself

Hello Everyone, I have this drive and it works great on Windows, but when I plugged it in a Mac it just Clicks and the light stays ON, any sugestions?

yeah. the first time you sync it, it can take a while. If you go a couple months without backing your computer up it will take a while but do it on a regular basis and it will be pretty fast.

yes...it is silent. I have had it for a while now and have experienced no problems. It is great!

Do you have time machine on your mac? If not, you may have to go under devices and find it. When you find it you should have the option to back up your computer. If you have time machine, click the icon on the top right corner and you should have the option to back it up.
