kevlar timingbelts often makes noise, even if the tension is right :)

It was too tight and was fixed well over a year ago before I sold the car.

That belt is too tight.

I've done quite a few RB DOHC cambelts; just done another today and that noise is if they are too tight.

imo how can vkotis tell where the sound come from when there is only one mic? "lolz all around..."

if its made of kevlar then there is no need to worry about it obviously. i bet its just rubbing a little

Mine did the same, it becomes more quite after a few 100 miles, nothing to worry about.

hey. i hear the same sound from your motor that i hear from mine. when the rpms come down it sounds sort of like a high vibration/rubbing type sound. i hear it coming from the front of the motor maybe from the intake cam or where the tensioner is. what is that sound?????
