Who the hell laughs at the tomb of the unknown soldier? People these days can be so disrespectful.

Is the foot/rifle drill that your soldiers do, whilst guarding the tomb, soley for that occasion or is it a more common form of ceremonial drill. Ive not seen it before.

@Roach1983 Oh wait I forgot you're using that silly fahrenheit.
Would've been avoided had you written "fahrenheit degrees" instead of "degrees" or use "°F" or something....

@sovietweapons not in the chamber at least, I would be willing to bet his sidearm is though

@Akugagi From winter to summertime yes

I remember being there when I was all of 15 years old. It's a shame that some people don't have respect and reverence at such a sacred place. The people laughing and talking very loudly sounded like they were at a party. Probably a bunch of drunk businessmen taking a break from golf. It's a disgrace and an embarrassment to the rest of the world. This isn't the circus or some freak show. This is the tomb of the unknowns! Some people are just plain ignorant...ill-mannered...ill-
bred. -
@flyrite How about the one time the Sentinel was offered to be relieved of his post because of an approaching hurricane? His response was, "No way, sir!"
He stayed at his post the entire duration of the hurricane. Sad you don't see dedication and discipline like this anymore.

Depressing that it would even have to be said. But I truly love how they refuse to lower the standards of their policies there despite the standards being rock bottom everywhere else in this country. S/F

@flyrite I don't think that place has a temperature ranging from -15 to 105 degrees hahah!

@sdave101 I wish someone had caught that on video.
Standards of the US Army Old Guard
Only under exceptional circumstances may the guard speak or alter his silent, measured tour of duty. He will issue a warning if anyone attempts to enter the restricted area around the Tomb, but first will halt and bring his rifle to port arms.
Way to piss off the highly motivated, well trained man with a rifle.

I love how he gets out of line for about 10 sec, makes his point and resumes. Rearly, rearly, rearly do these disciplined men get out of line. Great clip and great shot. There out there in mid summer when it's 105 degrees and 100% humudity, or -15 below with wind blowing. If that don't make you get a lump in your throat, then I can't help you much. You need help!!!
