ELIJAH BIO "Elijah" is a new cutting edge R&B and Funk artist/band set to make its debut in 2003. Equipped with Elijah, founding member of "Tony Toni Tone", as the leader, this Oakland based band's music resonates with slick harmonies, melodic songs and Elijah's unforgettable bass lines. In 2005, Elijah produced DPG (Dogg Pound Gangsters) of SO SO Def Records along with Dazz Dilinger. And Elijah performed on the Bass and produced along with ALICIA KEYS on her GRAMMY AWARD winning single titled "Diary" on J Records. After having played an important part in the multi platinum, world-renowned success of Tony, Toni, Tone and serving as musical director for platinum selling group "Lucy Pearl," Elijah is primed to take center stage to showcase his talents as a leader. He also choreographed the group's hypnotic moves and dance steps and he's known for his show stopping stage performances. His bass playing, dancing and singing are reminiscent of musical greats Bootsy Collins, James Brown and Marvin Gaye respectively. In addition to producing 3T on PolyGram, Elijah has produced several artists on various labels such as Club Nouveau (Warner Bros.), Suga T. (Priority), J. Spencer (Mojazz/Motown), Y.T. Style (Atlantic Records), Sweet N Low (Atlantic Records), M.J.G. (Universal Records) and Eight Ball (Universal Records). He is a well-known personality among his peers of today's hot R&B and Hip-Hop producers. Elijah's production and creative talents is bound to evolve into a uniquely distinct group that is geared towards pushing soul music to new heights. The debut album is loaded with songs featuring grooves, rap, and vocals, and a dance tune "Just Dance" that is destined to be a club smash showing off the talent of group member 'Monet'.
