RPL-300 Green Laser pops 20 Balloons

This is a portable RPL laser from optotronics.com, that outputs around 316mW, shown popping a line of 20 balloons.

(the delay on balloon 16 and 17 was because the laser was aimed too far to the left, it was corrected between 17 and 18)

why was the beam really unvisible? did u focus it for the far burning to get the ones far away? cuz ive seen 100mw green lasers have a beam like that

Beam visibility is based on like a million and six different factors. Some key ones:

1. What angle you look at the beam from (looking from the side, or 'down the barrel' of the laser)

2. How much ambient light there is (lights on or off in room?)

3. Stuff in the air (how much water/humidity, dust, anthrax particles, etc etc)

Its not that I played a trick to make it invisible, I just didn't play any tricks to make it visible.

Nope, this is the laser stock. The beam is a bit wider than your typical green pointer, but also better divergence because of that. I remember this unit being ~1mRad. With a beam expander the balloon massacre probably could've claimed many many more lives.
