The site of the Anglo-Saxon village at West Stow, Suffolk, was excavated by Dr Stanley West and his team of archaeologists in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Sufficient traces remained for a number of buildings to be reconstructed, though as no one knew what they looked like, or the precise way they were built, each reconstruction has been an experiment.
This A/V presentation is a first for me. The software was PicturesToExe (PTE) which is probably the best you can get for this job.
