my greyhound gets pretty aggressive when people come up to the fence, and he sounds scary too! though if someone new comes into the house he doesn't bark, but he is a little weary for a bit.
-
its funny cause they do look intimidating and their bark can be too, but they are actually an extremely gentle and friendly breed.

@greytgirl01 ok sorry i just found out my friend got a greyhound and she lives in an apartment but... she lets her greyhound run up and down the hallway... but the brondle color of your greyhound s very pretty :)

@IamIVYHope nope - greyhounds are sprinters, not marathon runners. Short bursts of energy. They are pretty adaptable, suitable for apartments, houses, or farms! Usually a 10 minute walk 2 times a day is enough to get rid of the zoomies :-)

@greytgirl01 my greyhounds rarely bark but they whimper when they see other dogs. They mostly lay around all day. i think they are couch potatoes , i think it is pretty funny!

@iamthesexmuffin they need LOTS of room to run sooo no
-
would they be much quieter in an apartment setting because they can't see whats outside (or at least not much) because they are sight hounds?

"Your not coming in here. This is my new room painted in my fav colour." "Grr! Good bluff heh!"
Ever so cute.
Generally the greys are too quiet :-) this is an exception to the rule. My girls only get guard doggy when it suits them.

Just a couple of louts! the funny thing is that this only happens occasionally, usually she will welcome anyone and everyone who comes to the front door.
