This is the (full) opening credits music to Ivan Noels film En Tu Ausencia (Vancouver Festival, Palm Springs Festival etc.), recorded in 2008. Playing his own composition on the guitar is the film's director, accompanied by young Gonzalo Sánchez (2nd guitar), who was also the films protagonist. The boy learned to play the guitar on the shooting set.
Scenery in this clip are outtakes of the film.

  • The film stunned me...the music even more...it is hauntingly addictive...and seeing Ivan and Gonzalo play it together is the reality of it all coming together....increíble!

  • What beautiful music! Is there a sound track available?

Having just watched En Tu Ausencia I began a web search for more of Ivan Noel's work. I am happy to have found this site and see the trailer for Brecha. I watched En Tu Ausencia several times. what a fascinating style of film making. I hope Gonzalo Sánchez will continue acting. He clearly has the talent for it.

  • For over a week now, days and nights, I've been imbued with the Movie. After the first (cursory) viewing and a self cleansing of dominant USA inculturation, I am now deeply indebted to "Pablo". Crowding 71 years of age a 13 year old (mysteriously) has led me yet deeper into my Soul! All of this before coming upon this YouTube 6 Minutes that I've been 12+ hours trying to get free from. What I see, hear, perceive, feel and marvel upon are far more than words can say.

  • @srkeilson .....write to Ivan and ask if you can have his soundtrack......it is amazing!!!

  • amazing! i am looking for the soundtrack to the movie and can't find it! is there one?

  • Amazing masterpiece of Flamenco guitar.

  • I stumbled upon this video clip by accident. It's a gem that should be made available through the official website as most people won't find it here on YouTube.

It was great to see Gonzalo actually playing the guitar. He's obviously very talented!

Kudos to this clip and the film.
