  • You obviously haven't followed Star Trek that closely.... everything in Star Trek (although completely sci-fi in the 1970's ) has come true.... voice recognition, space travel, clothes that control temperature, etc. etc. - the only thing that hasn't is the movement of physical matter from place to place..... the matrix will be here soon enough... the big question - will we recognize what is happening and stop it before its too late?

  • someone saw the matrix one too many times.

meanwhile, the worst case scenario isn't all that different than what we have now, is it...

  • This video provides a somewhat exaggerated look at the evolution of the modern internet and its eventual effect on individuals around the world.I have to admit that some of the themes discussed throughout this video seem a little Terminator-ish;however, there clearly truth in the assertions being made. Why would it be so weird to imagine a future where the biggest corporation merge together to form some type of "super-power" corporation that almost completely eliminates human choice and thought.

  • this is pretty much realistic at the rate that things are going. personalization is one of the newest conveniences of the internet. but it's not new because supermarkets and department stores have been doing it for years.

  • brilliant!!
