This video will help you understand US-VISIT, the layer of security that uses biometrics, such as digital fingerprints, to establish and verify international travelers' identities. US-VISIT procedures apply to international travelers holding a non-U.S. passport or visa.

What? By using biometrics you protect my privacy? How about not taking my biometrics, isn't that a much simpler idea to, I don't know, actually protect my privacy? It's especially the "it's for your protection and don't worry, we won't abuse it"-bullshit that annoys me.

I would have liked to visit Alaska one day, but I'll take my chances with Canada's nature under the current circumstances.
