Warrington Post Office Campaign: Nick Clegg and Jo Crotty

Nick Clegg joins Warrington South PPC Jo Crotty to support the campaign to save Warrington's post offices.

Nick joined Liberal Democrat activists collecting petition signatures for their ongoing fight to save local post offices from Labour plans to close six in Warrington and 2500 across the country.

"We're very excited that Nick is coming to give our campaign a boost. Nick recognizes how important it is to local communities that their post offices stay open," said Warrington South Parliamentary Spokesperson Jo Crotty. "I have been a big supporter of Nick since he announced his candidacy for the party's leadership. He has the vision and the ideas to lead us forward in terms of electoral success and in terms of policy that really excites people around the country. I hope that in December we can celebrate two victories: Nick Clegg's as our new party leader; and, most importantly, I hope we can celebrate a successful conclusion to our fight to keep Warrington's post offices open," she added.
