Rocked: Sum 41 in Congo is a 2005 documentary film directed by Adrian Callender describing the experiences of the Popular punk-pop rockers Sum 41, as they take a break from the music to join War Child Canada in traveling to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for an eye-opening look at an African country where the rage of war has held a population in fear since 1998. Before being caught in the middle of a battle between rebel soldiers and government troops, band members Deryk, Steve, Cone, and Dave meet with Congolese children to whom death has sadly become a way of life.

Rocked is a grippingly honest and unscripted account of an African country in turmoil as seen through the eyes of acclaimed rock band, Sum 41. The war in the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) has been characterized as one of the world's worst humanitarian crises and the most deadly war ever documented in Africa. The film crew follows the musical group, Sum 41, as they meet Congolese children and youth caught in the crossfire, including child soldiers and victims of assault. Sum 41's harrowing experience is caught on film as they witness firsthand what it is like to struggle for survival in a country where, since 1998, more than three million people have been killed and war has been more prevalent than peace.

  • When i think Sum 41, I think it's going to be huge kicks and laughs.

But this is just terrible. They've make you realize how bad war is... and I've only payed attention because my favorite band was in the dvd. Dx

I still want to know how Chuck saved their lives exactly...
