UN-TIED KINGDOM - is the powerful new single and video from Scotland's Dynamic Hip Hop duo STEG-G & the FREESTYLE MASTER.

Taken from their forthcoming new L.P. The songs subject matter is based in something everyone in modern-day Britain knows only too well...living with the fear factor!

Released on Glasgow based Hip Hop label "POWERCUT PRODUCTIONS". The thought provoking nature of the track is compounded by STEG G's tension filled musical back drop which serves as a great vehicle for FREESTYLE MASTER's lyrics,... such as...." It's not about black or white, man it's more than that / thats just the games they play trying to hold us back..." .

The video was shot on location while the duo made their way to London for a show in Brixton with the ALABAMA 3, and focuses firmly on the Orwellian style "Big Brother" surveillance systems that take place in the U.K. famously depicted in the (non) fictional book 1984.

On the day of filming a certain historical event occurred that gives the video a particularly eery quality. While shooting scenes for the promo with Parliament in the background everyone at the shoot noticed that the volume of police in the area at that time trebled in size, not thinking much of it, later they became aware that while in London filming a video for a song about Government conspiracies, their own home town of Glasgow had that day in fact been the subject of a failed bombing at the city's airport...... and what makes it freakier is the time on the face of Big Ben while shooting the scenes is the exact time of the failed terror plot at Glasgow Airport.

"UN-TIED KINGDOM" is a powerful song with a powerful message about the world that we now live in, and also serves as a great introduction to the new album which will hit the streets late September.

UN-TIED KINGDOM will be released on the 21st July 2008 (CD and Digital)

I feel the video is as entertaining and as enjoyable to watch as a shit filled with both spunk and vomit. However, I still rate it as much better than the song.
