Extreme G-3 Muon Harbor

Extreme G-3 is the third game in the series, published by the once titan software publisher/developer, "Acclaim". (Acclaim still exists, but they mainly do advertisement based free online gaming now)

This game was a really early release on the PS2 (blue disc as well). The graphics may appear dated, but the gameplay is still as addictive as it ever was (with games like Wipeout and Kinetica falling into the similar category).

This game can be found in the used section of EB Games/Gamestop shelves for five dollars (markdown) - and it's an easy bargain, especially considering PS3's have no problems reading blue discs.

Pretty fun game, in which the difficulty would become insane by the time your racing speeds (later on in the game) consistently break the sound barrier, and one slight misjudgment in turning could lead you into a wall, erupting in a fireball.

They went bankrupt a while ago. They're still around, but not they only make web based games and low grade free online games (the kind that pay for themselves with in game advertising).

1 Question in the Previues Extreme G you can break the Speed of the Sound why here i dont see on any video that speed been break?

I dont know if i make my self clear i do break the sound in G2 on Nitro i use, but i dont see here even using the Boost Speed on the Floor Plus the Nitro, that Velocity Been Obtain

can some one tell me what happend?

I can barely understand what you are saying, but yes, you CAN break the speed of sounds in XG3.

games like this need to be reproduced on todays system graphics....hands down best racing/battle game EVERRRRRRR.....but the ExG2 for N64 was WAY BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Raijin1999 Didnt another company pick this series up and then never did anything with it? If so, they should either make a new one or hand it over to a big publisher (for god sake stay away Activision!!) so it can get back on its feet

@21Michichi it was out on the PS2 first and then they ported it to the GC with enhanced graphics and i believe better multiplayer too. :)
