TRAIL CHAMBER - Keynote 2009 - Honourable Mayor Bogs

On March 17th, 2009 the Trail & District Chamber of Commerce held it's Annual General Meeting for members and to elect and initiate board members. Trail BC's Honourable Mayor Dieter Bogs was on hand to give a keynote and to swear in the new director board for 2009.

The Trail Chamber has achieved many successes in the past 18 months, and the TCOC board and staff look forward to another successful banner year.

In 2009, the Trail Chamber will focus on new initiatives and enhancements to the Member website and member directory portal. The Trail Chamber is now self sufficient after 18 months of successful CMS (content management system) training by Randy McCallum, SmallBizMagic/GreaterTrail.com.

2009 is expected to be a banner year for member businesses as the focus is on helping to improve area business and tourism through web and social network branding fro the Trail & District Chamber, and member businesses.
