Barry Sheene fails to hide his anger at Schumacher taking Hill out at Adelaide 1994 and asks Murray Walker to give his opinion. Murray dodges the question and changes the subject.
@paddy080585 ...such as Senna chose to crash into their opponents as well and in way more obvious ways and situations and in a way more demeaning manner and they still got away with it. One mustn't apply double standards just becasue one is called Schumacher and the other Senna or Prost
@paddy080585 ...in the rightful position to defend his line, so by no chance he could get penalized for that and the crash would always be Damon's fault, since he was not in the position to overtake in this very corner, so that he would win the championship if both contenders would retire from the race. It is of course understandable that the British would be angry as well as those who are anti-Schumacher, but you have to be objective and must not forget that other huge representers of the sport
you don't dive into a the same corner with your rival, if you're more than half a car length behind, even more so, if you could easily get him at another part of the track. And if you do, there is something called a break pedal which comes useful at times. With his car amaged or not, Schumacher had all rights defending his line from a leading position here until the very last moment. And even considering that he knew what was going to happen, it was simply a clever move because he knew he was...
@WCSLeagueTV i'm a schumi fan, and i agree with you that schumacher did it on purpose (its obvious, he looks, sees hill, and turned in) but i'm convinced that many other drivers had done the same thing. In fact, Senna did the same thing in Suzuka 1990 with prost. Hill was clearly overwhelmed by the chance because if he thought a little he would have waited intil a couple of corners later, after al schumi couldn't finish anymore with his broken car.
@SchueY03 ...What a stupid statement. Of course Schumacher did it on purpose. We only needed to wait three more years to see him try that same trick again... Remember? Didn't think so. Schumacher fans have selective memories...
IIRC, what was really galling was the sight of Schumacher sitting back in the pits with that stupid smug smile on his face, as if to say, "I thought that went rather well!"
@SchueY03 Easy to say...These are racing car, not made to go at the pace of a turtle. Hill was not really at fault. This said, Schumacer was not at fault as well : his Beneton was hard to drive (ask Verstappen, Letho or Herbert - they all hated driving the B194) and had suspension problems. It was an avoidable race accident, and probably that the two driver will be penalize today with points...

Cheater Schu should NEVER be forgiven for that and he should never let it be forgotten.
He was a dirty cheat throughout his career, nobody like him, he didn't deserve to win the way he did and he made the sport very boring.

@lambosforusal I think the only reason Senna did it in 1990 was payback for Prost doing it to him in 1989 then getting him disqualified
