Star Trek Vid Contest Results

Thank you again, everyone! The competition was seriously fierce. Hovering over the video preview and clicking will take you to the actual video! It's like magic! If your video is featured in this one, the audio might possibly be a pitch higher (trying to avoid copyright, you see.) By the way, the fact that Spock loves Ke$ha so much was very unknown to me.

First Place:
You seriously blew our minds with this one. The texture change with the music and the fast paced cuts/zooms had us repeating the video over and over again. We have been, yet again, won over by this pairing (or OT3 maybe?) because of the awesomeness. I have watched your videos for a while now, and I find myself impressed with every video you upload. I bow to you, my friend. Congratulations!

Second Place:
After watching this about 100 times, we were convinced it is possible to fall in love with a fan video. At first we were confused as to how this song would work, but we realized how perfect it really is. Your song choice was truly GRAND. A grand song deserves grand editing, and that was what it got! You "cookie cuttered" our hearts.

Third Place:
We try not to be biased by placing slash videos all the time, but there is always a beautiful K/S video that wins our love. This one had us "awwing" and squeeing like fangirls at every beautiful moment. The tears, the love! Your video was made in such a short amount of time, but it doesn't show! Major kudos to you for pulling it together so quickly and making is nearly cry with tears of joy for "this simple feeling."

Is it just me, or does anyone else think it's strange the winners of both contests were Spock/Kirk/McCoy vids? Or that the top 3 all featured Spock and/or Kirk? Maybe I'm just paranoid.

@trekkie74205 I was hoping that wouldn't seem as if I'm biased. That was one of my worries when I picked the winners, but to be honest, I only picked them because of how well-crafted they were, and because of the fact that it was really obvious that they spent so much time making the videos. I wasn't picking winners on just the pairings alone. Sorry if it seems that way; I was trying to completely fair.

I'm glad the Kirk/Spock/McCoy vid won 1st! Spock/McCoy needs more lovin! But Kirk/Spock/McCoy is the next best thing. Lol!

I'm so sorry I didn't get to enter the contest! I know I said I would try to get my video done, and I did, but I was hit with so much crap that happened in real life that... errgh. I promise to still finish the video at some point, because I know you'll love it.

And I've seriously got to finish my MEP parts for FFS.

Also, Khan's man-boobs are indeed awesome. He could poke an eye out with those things.
