i'm not an expert, but if you listen to the whole song's lyrics i don't think it's about a kid actually committing suicide, it's about him wishing to but never doing it because he realizes that things get better.

@GETxS0ME Actually my family wouldn't mind at all that I mentioned my uncle who took his life in 2010. I do a walk each year in his memory with the AFSP organization and talk about him to people who didn't know him because its comforting for me to not ever forget him. Well the thing is.. He probably didn't want you to worry about him.

So he kept on talking about the future so everybody would be relaxed and thinking he'd be okay.

I did such things myself too.

That's just how we humans do such things. I feel sorry for you. I know that you miss him. But even though you're down, always remember that it will get better, maybe not now, but they will. Just try to look at the bright side of all the small things.

@fighter5091 When my Uncle took his life he left a note, the note did not however coincide with his actions before he took his life. He had been around friends talking about future career plans and had talked to my Grandma saying he'd see her again soon. He took his life shortly after the holidays which is statistically when most ppl do. Overall losing him was the one of the single most hardest things I've ever experienced in my life thus far.

@mckenzie85 With someone like you, I can talk! Yeah,, Especially the questions.. for no one will ever know all the reasons. And it leaves such a bitter feeling of guilt.. because you will always think 'if only I could have saved him/her.' So whoever wants to commit suicide.. just don't!

@2Fireypersonality2 dude i know what youre going through... life can be really difficult. Ive been at my wits end before, and although its cliche its true that the clouds do clear... Once life is over you cannot get it back, and you would miss out on so many things still to come. Maybe talk to someone? I hope you read this and take it into consideration...

@fighter5091 Your description is dead on, the void that a suicide creates is unfillable, its like an abyss of darkness. It never gets better with a suicide, you can't rationalize it like an illness or an accident. It leaves a bevy of unanswered questions. The abruptness of it is earth shattering. I don't think survivors of suicide ever get over it, they just learn to cope with it a little better each day.

@RenoRyderz We do not know what is on the horizon for us, or how our story ends..do not extinguish the burning light inside of you before it is your time. There is and are people around you who love you, please know they may not communicate it to you but they do. When my Uncle died he was in a state of despair over losing his job, his unemployment, his home and his pet of 14 years. He never thought to reach out to anyone, if I had know I would of done anything to stop what happened.
