This is the part #5 of a concert that Rich Mullins did in Lufkin Texas. Some excerpts from this concert made it to the homeless man video also available on You Tube.

This was the last concert tour that he did before he passed on.

  • Rich is one of the few christians I have a lot of respect for even though I am an atheist. I still listen to his music and enjoy it, the only other christian artist I still listen to since leaving christianity is Keith Green. Thanks for the upload.

  • @ruefulquixote We appreciate you hanging in there.

  • This, I think is the best segment of the concert. Lots of good ideas and a sermon too.

  • Saw him in 1989 way up in Sault Ste Marie, MI - Christian music lacks his genius and creativity these days.

  • Its sad. Rich Mullins has been dead now for 14 years and we'll never hear anything like him ever again - but we still have the perpetual TobyMac machine pumping out one "let's get Crunk for Jesus" albums at least once a year. Sad.

  • @kelllygg Hey, I know just what you mean. My thing is, and what I've had to learn the hard way is that Christians are people just like everyone else, but what hurts worse is that you look towards your Christian brethren for love and support when you need it. Just like typical people they will smash you. What I've learned is to ask God, talk to God because He does love you. Remember what they did to Jesus, they will do to you as well, so He knows the pain.

  • What's all this rubbish coming out of his mouth?

  • What an amazing man he was!!!! I think he was alot like Jesus!! he had his faults yes but still he was awesome.

  • @ruefulquixote Did you ever notice that there isn't sad songs in Christian music? I left Christianity too - because of the people. Christians don't care. My world blew up and everyone turned away, then judged my steps while walking alone. But, God does care - He never stops. We like Rich and Keith because they're REAL.

  • @ruefulquixote Say what you will, you may have drifted some away from Christianity, but that doesn't make you an atheist. Just remember, you can take a million steps away, but it is always just one step back to God, because he is following you wherever you go.

  • I love and miss you Rich!!

  • I was at that concert!!! It was and always will be the most amazing display of talent I've seen.
