Village Christian Highschool's trip to Mexicali spring break. Hundreds of schools do an outreach to churches and sections of Mexicali each year to lend a helping hand and reunite with friends. This is a 9 minute short of the film, the full version is about an hour long.

Lo Que no me gusto es que por las imagenes parece que fueron a un ejido o alas afueras de lacioudad y ESO NO ES MEXICALI!! como si les enseñaran: ho vamos a mexcli a hacer servicio comunitario!!! y eso les da la idea de que por que es mexico y es mexicali estamos jodidos y nececitamos ayuda y eso no esta bien, aqui no nececitamos que vengan de afuera a ayudarnos nosotros nos debemos ayudar a nosotros mismos.

i live in the imperial valley too.. and live 5 minutes away from mexicali.. and u are wrong.. not all mexicali is bad.. only the border part.. the rest is very nice.. theres more millionaires and more shit over there... HELLO OVER 1 MILLION PEOPLE.. imperial valley is not even half of that.. and thats like 6 towns put together...

Im 13 years old and Im a catholic who goes to a catholic school.Not all mexicali is bad, I have family and friends in every neighborhood in mexicali, from the nacosari to places like flores magon, its not all that poor, by us standards, yes it is a poor city, but even though not every street is paved over i dont know a single person who wouldnt help out a fellow human if that person was in need. Im just putting this out der.Not every1 there is as miserable and poor as this vid wuld have u think
