I would say that I respect tech, but really, the only thing that stands out about them is their top ranking in STD's.

@longhorn588 Sorry ha, I guess I should practice what I preach. Our petroleum is ranked 10th. But that's besides the point, what I wanted to get across was that despite what some people say Tech is a great school. I have friends and family who went to the same high school as me that go to UT and A&M. Does that mean they suddenly became better than me just because they went to UT or A&M? I am sure they do not think that. Like i said i think both school are great, but so is Tech.

@krishnalite I love how aggy everytime they start losing a debate they will start calling whoever it is (mostly Texas) a bunch of "homos" or "queer lovers". Then their school paper "The Battalion" has a front page story in it about how there are so many mens rooms on campus that now have "glory holes" in the walls and gays from all over Texas are coming to aNm to hook up with students. But they call everyone else "gay".

The good thing is that we can all agree on Tech, Texas, Baylor, TCU, everyone, is that we are GLAD they are leaving. I have nothing against any school in Texas ribbing each other is all in good fun. EXCEPT for aggy. Biggest bunch of arrogant, cry baby, penis envy, cultists, in the world.

@LuxAurumque02000 Uh what? If you're talking about the USNWR rankings, you might want to check those again. UT is ranked #11, Tech is #85. My program (ChemE) is #7.

If anyone did any real research the would find out that it is in fact Lubbock, not Tech, that has a high STD rate. Furthermore Texas Tech's engineering program is ranked in the top 25 in the nation, not even UT is in there. I am not saying that Tech is better then UT because I think UT is a great University. I used to think that A&M was a great school too, but after reading some of these comments I realize how arrogant and ignorant some of their students are.

Making aggies cry is so easy. They're the first to call Tech students "classless" but then after an aggie (or aggie fan) spray paints the University of Texas or they fling dung on the Texas band it's all ok. It's just a "rivalry" and "tradition". I'm glad to see the "honor code" can be turned on and off like that.

Drive through college station and you'll see more anti-UT signs than pro a&m. Jealous much?

Just for the record, the reason everyone else despises you Aggies is because of your "better than thou" mentality. You call out everyone else when your some of the most arrogant pricks I've ever seen. Yea, I go to Tech and you know why? Because it's the better school. I respect everyone in the military, but some of your fans need to get a serious life.
