@leafyutube Indeed. When she would appear, my wife would say "Your babe is on TV!" She knows I had (have) a long time crush on Goldie. Oh the things I'd like to do with/to her..... Yum yum.

Back at that time Pledge drives were done about maby once or twice a year. Now they come on like 5 or 6 times a year.

As a kid, It felt like she was on the tube for ages in between Sesame Street and Mister Rogers. She's still pretty god dam annoying

People like Goldie are needed to raise money to keep the channel going.
Now maybe CBC (Pubic Broadcasting) can try fundraisers like this and then they will realise one a handfull would pay for their crap network instead of taxpayers bailing them out all the time.
