  • The music/melody sounds like the song "Still the One". I hope the "Orleans" got paid for that!

  • My Grandmother used to drink Tab.She said she drank it because it was for "beautiful people":)

  • Promos for Wednesday, January 25, 1977:

"BLACK SHEEP SQUADRON": "Devil in the Slot"

    "POLICE WOMAN": "Disco Killer"

Yes, that's Willie Mays at the end....

  • @ScorpioBornIn69 They are, I bought some yesterday!

  • I still remembered the swirled 'a' logo back in the '70s. I think it was changed in '78 or '79. I haven't seen any Tabs for awhile. Is Coke still making Tabs colas?

  • @JP5466 eh, its only orleans

  • The following NBC Television promotion for Wednesday Nights earned a 6 for uniqueness and for originality. I loved the Tab commercial from 1977. Classic And Not Overdone!!

  • Loved this jingle. Will always stay in my mind.

  • That was a middle aged Willie Mays at the end (He was 46, and retired from baseball 3 years prior), and still doing the same thing he loved to do when he played for the New York Giants (before they moved to San Francisco). He loved going uptown to play stickball. HIs manager back then, Leo Durocher, groused about it all the time.

  • Very nice. Is the combing on the master? Is this quad?
