@Turtleboi491 near the end of the book, the characters begin to call them the "Formics" to show more respect to the dead race.

@Turtleboi491 I did a search inside the book on Amazon, and it isn't in the book at all. It's fine if it's used in the other books, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy ;P

I heard other reviewers talk about the "Formix", too... but I don't remember reading that word anywhere. How do you spell it? (I'll use amazon's search inside the book thingy)

@whothehellisthat It's spelled Formics. It's the other, more proper, name given to the buggers.

@Turtleboi491 but it isn't in "Ender's Game", right? I don't remember the buggers ever being called anything apart from buggers. Maybe "Formics" was used in the later books?

@whothehellisthat I believe it shows up in Ender's Game. If I remember correctly, and I may not, Mazer Rackman calls them that at some point.
