While ASUS pioneered the "netbook" category, it was arguably Acer that perfected it with its Aspire One line. A Internet video series by butterscotch.com.

  • I saw this at bestbuy for $199.99, so $400.00 I don't think so.

  • @MrPickelish Have you considered the price may have gone down or the manufacturer altered their pricing structure?

  • how about a demo???

  • @flatin12 No optical drive. That means no. You'd have to buy an external one or work off of ISOs onto a USB drive or a virtual driver (Windows only.)

  • @Temall Yes it does. (Wireless-G... so you will achieve speeds up to 54mbps.)

  • mac mini pwns that crappy acer mobo

  • @MrPickelish The $199.99 model is the single core processor, and that one does NOT have the ION chipset.

  • its like the PC verstion of a Mac Mini :P Maybe this will be the new thing for desk tops, instead of the those big bulky towers.... lol

  • THIS PC HAVE A DVD OR DISC DRIVER PLZ ANSWER

  • It has Wi-Fi right?

  • I just got one for £110 and i think its great for that price. Even at full price it is still ok for the price, although the processor is quite slow

  • @knowsnos yes I know that computer, they no longer sell that computer, thank god, it is a rip off, I went ahead and made myself a computer for $325, a bargain right, so just because a computer has some nice features and is cheap, doesn't mean it's a bargain, in fact it's only good for watching the occasional movie in 1080p or checking email, even though the nVidia ion chipset is in it, the processor sucks bawls.
