  • @alcatraz109 I did'nt say anything about downsizing the military. The Philippines Defense Force will be a well balance, professional modern force. It will be modeled after the Israeli Defense Force, but only in smaller scale. Part of the Phil. Defense Force program is the re-structuring and re-arming of the military w/ modern equipments. A new overall doctrine and strategy best suited for the modern warfare will also be implemented.

  • @MrGRUNT101 How about upsizing it, even larger than teh IDF?

Defense Forces cannot possess ex: strategic bombers, aircraft carriers, nuclear weapons, etc. etc. etc.

The IDF has been rumored to have tactical nukes in its arsenal.

    Call that a defense force?

  • Disband the AFP and establish the Philippines Defense Forces. Profesionalised all branches, meaning stadardized training and equipments, reasonable pay and benefits..etc. to eliminate cronyism and corruption in the military.

  • @MrGRUNT101 And that means removing all hope of acquiring offensive weapons.

Remember: The best defense is an early, well-planned and well-coordinated offense.

  • God Bless Our Military..!! ",)

  • thank you!

  • Remember: Amateurs talk tactics, professionals study logistics (a quote attributed to General Omar Bradley).

  • @alcatraz109 Check out the Philippines Defense Forces Forum or Philippines Defense Forum if you're interested in more Philippines Military stuffs.

    Thanks for the reply!

  • @alcatraz109 I don't have a problem with a strong Phililippines Military, the problem is with the Philippines Government, they simply cannot afford a big standing military. Have you ever been there? A typypical Pilipino Soldier's Danger pay is 250 pesos, that's not even a hundred dollars. You and I can both dreams about a wold class Pilippines Military but in the end it still those Politicians who need to decide. Maybe they need a wake up call.

  • can you at least put more pictures that isn't in tiles? damn.
