One of most beloved Bossanova Antonio Carlos Jobim's 'Girl from Ipanema' has tuned into Avangard on eastern angle by eastern musicians' delicate touch.

  • 가야금 솔로가 조금 더 다양했으면 좋겠네요.

  • Yes, I wish we had Jobim with us now. We especially want to show him our persevering arrangement.

  • One of my favorite jazz songs performed by koreans.

God I love my country :D

  • Does anyone know if the haegeum ( the two stringed instrument ) and the gayageum (the behemoth) use traditional western notation?

  • I had to give this a look because I love to look at music from different angles. There are good parts of this arrangement, like the vamp after the B section of the song. I wasn't a fan of the even-note, rhythm. In my opinion, this song is ALL about the rhythm of the A section. I wasn't a great fan of the pianist's comping style. The violin seemed to just not be able to fit in with the tone of everything else. I have to give this a thumbs down, but I DO like OTHER records of this group.

  • i like this version a lot... and the traditional instruments used are my favorite.. i know the violin like instrument, it's erhu.. but the other one, i'm not sure.. what's it called? (1:55 - 2:07) ..i would like to learn how to play like that..
