I think he's on-point. Record sales are meaningless when its mostly white high school kids and little girls who know very little about hip-hop and emceeing who are buying your albums. Everyone who truly knows hip-hop can't deny that the best hip-hop coming out this past decade has been underground. There's a huge difference between being popular and being a decent emcee. Lil Wayne is living proof that rap is now more about your appearance than your lyrics. Imagine if he was white
